Tell your Representatives to support tax credits that fund affordable homeownership
The Community Contribution Tax Credit Program is used by Habitat for Humanity to partner with businesses for the construction of new, affordable homes. Since 1998, Habitat affiliates in Florida have used CCTCP to partner with more than 800 businesses, building over 4,000 affordable homes throughout the state. However, the tax credits available for CCTCP has been reduced from $21.4 million in fiscal year 2016-2017 to just $10.5 million in fiscal year 2020-2021.
The reduction of tax credits available directly impacts the number of families Habitat for Humanity can serve through affordable homeownership. Join us in telling key lawmakers to increase the tax credits available for the CCTCP program, so we can continue serving hardworking, low-income families.
